We present an aerial image showing one of the most relevant phases of the execution.
The photographs show the current state of the work inside the building, where a controlled structural excavation is underway. This process is being carried out while fully preserving the historic facades, ensuring the stability of the entire structure at all times through a system of shoring and structural reinforcements specifically designed for this project.
This is a phase of high technical complexity, in which structural consolidation work, reorganization of the interior space and preparation of the building for the incorporation of new modern and efficient construction systems are combined, always under criteria of maximum quality and with deep respect for the heritage value of the property.
In addition to the architectural restoration, the project incorporates the preservation and integration of highly significant historical elements discovered during the construction work. These include the Civil War air-raid shelter and the layout of the Renaissance wall located underground, whose conservation and enhancement are being carried out under specialized archaeological supervision.
This project exemplifies how the sustainable rehabilitation of built heritage can integrate engineering, architecture, and archaeology to recover historic buildings and adapt them to contemporary needs.
The project is being carried out in a joint venture with OBRAS Y PAVIMENTACIONES MAN SAU, reinforcing technical coordination and construction excellence in all phases of the project.
