At Construcciones Llull Sastre, we have completed the renovation and expansion of the luxury resort St. Regis Mardavall, a renowned establishment opened in 2002 and located in Punta Negra, a secluded cove on the southwest coast of Mallorca. This exclusive hotel is part of the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts chain by Marriott International, a global leader in luxury hospitality.
The work carried out has focused primarily on the comprehensive renovation of the complex’s outdoor spaces. Highlights include the complete remodeling of the swimming pool, where the existing mosaic tiles have been replaced with new “Mystery Sand” paving by Rosa Gres, giving it a more contemporary and elegant look. The surrounding terraces have also been expanded with the installation of new decking, and the network of pathways throughout the resort has been extended.
As part of the resort’s expansion, a new outdoor restaurant called “Mar” has been built, a gastronomic space with ocean views featuring its own kitchen and bar. The building, clad in natural stone, blends seamlessly with the surroundings and is complemented by an outdoor deck from the British firm Millboard, creating an exclusive sea club within the resort.
Simultaneously, the Mediterranean restaurant “Terra,” one of the hotel’s most prominent dining options, has been remodeled. In collaboration with the renowned interior design studio Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the space has been completely renovated, from the kitchen to the flooring, combining parquet and hydraulic tiles, a traditional material characterized by its manufacturing process using a hydraulic press.
Working on a landmark property within the luxury hotel industry has been a demanding and stimulating challenge for our team. The final result reflects our commitment to quality construction and precision execution, values that allow us to participate in high-level projects within the hotel sector.
