Son Xigala: restored heritage and residential excellence

A unique rehabilitation project that preserves the essence of Mallorcan architecture and integrates it with contemporary design and high performance.

We are pleased to announce the excellent completion of one of the most emblematic projects we have developed in Mallorca: the comprehensive rehabilitation of the historic Possessió Son Xigala, a 13th-century building transformed with the utmost respect for its architectural and cultural value.

This building, a witness to centuries of history, has been restored while preserving its most representative traditional elements, such as the impressive stone vaults, the handcrafted wrought ironwork, and the exterior wooden joinery. Every intervention has been carried out under rigorous technical criteria, guaranteeing the conservation of the original character and the essence of Mallorcan architecture.

In parallel, modern construction solutions and systems have been integrated to ensure the long-term functionality, efficiency, and sustainability of the complex. The result is a high-performance, 14-unit apartment building that includes six private swimming pools, a communal pool, two elevators, and a 16-space surface parking lot, combining heritage, comfort, and technology in a unique setting.

The completion of this project reflects our technical capabilities, our commitment to quality construction, and our responsibility to preserve the architectural heritage that defines our identity as a construction company in Mallorca.

Son Xigala, a project designed by Junquera Arquitectos and executed by Construcciones Llull Sastre, represents an exemplary balance between heritage conservation and contemporary architecture.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our collaborators, technical and industrial teams and partners who have made this project possible with their professionalism, dedication and excellence.
