In the privileged setting of Puigpunyent, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, we have completed the entire construction of the new Spa & Wellness Center at the Gran Hotel Son Net, one of Mallorca's most emblematic and exclusive establishments.
This project reinforces Construcciones Llull Sastre's specialization in the construction of luxury wellness spaces in five-star hotels, combining traditional Mallorcan architecture, artisanal craftsmanship, and advanced wellness technology.
More than 1,000 m² dedicated to well-being
The new Spa & Wellness Center boasts over 1,000 m² designed to offer a comprehensive relaxation and personal care experience in a unique natural setting. It features an indoor saltwater pool with an immersive atmosphere, five fully equipped treatment rooms, a thermal circuit with contrast zones, and a fitness room with panoramic views of the Tramuntana Mountains. Each area has been conceived to integrate visually and sensorially with the landscape, enhancing the connection between architecture and the natural environment.
Handcrafted architecture and Mallorcan essence
One of the most unique elements of the project was the hand-built main spa vault, constructed using a barrel vault structure with plasterboard and ribbed metal framing, subsequently clad with salt stucco. This artisanal process demanded technical precision and meticulous execution to achieve a warm, enveloping atmosphere consistent with the hotel's historical identity. The combination of traditional materials with contemporary solutions allows the Gran Hotel Son Net to retain its Mallorcan essence while incorporating the latest advancements in climate control and comfort systems.
