Hotel renovation and expansion on the seafront
Located in the Port of Sóller, on Calle Faro s/n, the current Hotel Salino Port de Sóller is the result of a complete renovation and expansion of the former Hotel Citric, carried out by Construcciones Llull Sastre. The project has transformed the establishment to meet its superior 4-star rating, further solidifying our expertise in hotel renovations and expansions in Mallorca.
Structural renovation and high-level technical expansion
The project included structural reinforcement work using one-way slabs with prestressed beams, steel beams with composite slabs, and concrete and steel columns, as well as reinforcement of the compression layer of existing slabs. The facade cladding was constructed with ceramic brick and an exterior thermal insulation system, complemented by an interior lining of plasterboard and mineral insulation, significantly improving the building's energy efficiency and comfort.
Contemporary architecture and high-quality materials
Inside, the renovation incorporates vinyl flooring, porcelain stoneware, extruded stoneware, and encaustic tiles, along with porcelain wall tiles and plasterboard suspended ceilings. Interior woodwork in ash and wrought ironwork add character and aesthetic coherence. Outside, the cladding consists of acrylic mortar renders, Binissalem stone thresholds and sills, and plastered laminated cement board suspended ceilings. The exterior joinery combines aluminum and ash wood, while the stainless steel railings reinforce the contemporary image of the complex.
