Safety is also something that is built up.

At Construcciones Llull Sastre, we believe that every project begins with looking after the people who make it possible. The construction industry is a sector that demands planning, coordination and commitment, but also constant attention to the safety and wellbeing of those who work on site every day.

We have therefore received a consignment of sun-protective neck covers for workers in the construction sector, an initiative designed to strengthen protection against high temperatures and improve health and safety at work during the summer months.

This initiative highlights the importance of continuing to introduce preventive measures to help protect construction workers from sun exposure, particularly at a time of year when the heat can have a direct impact on working conditions.

During the summer months, construction sites require particular attention to be paid to the risks associated with high temperatures. Prolonged exposure to the sun, physical exertion and working outdoors make it necessary to step up preventive measures to ensure safer working environments.

The distribution of these sun-protective neck covers is designed precisely to achieve this objective: to improve protection for workers and raise awareness of the importance of preventing the effects of heat in the construction sector.

At Construcciones Llull Sastre, health and safety is an integral part of our approach to every project. Building to a high standard means not only focusing on the end result, but also on the process, the teams and the conditions under which each project is carried out.

The handover took place at our site for the UTE Salut Cecilio Metelo Building joint venture, a project carried out jointly by Obras y Pavimentaciones Man S.A. and Construcciones Llull Sastre S.A.U.

In this project, health, occupational health and safety, and the wellbeing of the teams are an essential part of our day-to-day work. Every stage of the project requires coordination, responsibility and commitment from all the professionals involved.

As a company involved in the development of construction and new building projects in Mallorca, we understand that prevention must be present from the beginning of each project until its completion.

As part of this initiative, IB3 reported on the handover of sun-protective neck covers at the construction site of the Salut Cecilio Metelo Building joint venture.

In the video, our colleagues Samuel Senero and Lina Soler explain the importance of protection against sun exposure and the preventive measures that help to ensure safer working conditions on site.

Sun protection for construction workers
