We are starting the remodelling works of a multi-family building in the old town of Palma de Mallorca, between the pedestrian streets Jaume II and Pescatería.
The works to be carried out by Construcciones Llull Sastre consist of the demolition of 80% of the interior structure of the current building, maintaining the façade and interior load-bearing walls, which will be reinforced at those points in a poor state of conservation.
The floor slabs will be rebuilt, the exterior carpentry will be replaced and the façade will be covered with lime mortar, with the aim of maintaining the architecture of the buildings in the old city. The ornate interior railings will be conserved, adapting them to current regulations.
With these renovation actions in one of the busiest streets in the centre of Palma, we will contribute to the regeneration of the city. The resulting building will have a commercial premises on the ground floor, where new windows will be opened to provide more natural light, two one-bedroom apartments on the mezzanine and first floor, a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor and, on the third floor, a three-bedroom apartment with a private roof terrace.
