On 29 April 2024, the Michelin Guide launched its first awards in the hotel world, distinguishing those establishments that offer the best experience to travellers, awarding them with one, two or three keys. In order to obtain the keys, the experience offered to the traveller was evaluated by considering five categories, from the personality and general character of the establishment to the architecture and interior design, the latter being, as a construction company, the one we have focused on.
Two establishments, which we are very proud to have worked on during their construction phase, have been selected for these awards:
Firstly, the Hotel Llorenç located in the old town of the city of Palma, recognised with a key. The execution of this project was the materialisation of a dream, the creation of a unique and welcoming space where guests could enjoy an unforgettable stay.
In addition to the Michelin guide, they have also been selected in Trip advisor’s “2024 Traveler’s Choice Awards Best of the Best Hotels” as one of the 25 best Hotels in Spain in the TOP Hotels category and in the Luxury Hotels category.
Secondly, the Castell de Son Claret, located in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, in the municipality of Es Capdellà, was also awarded a key. A 19th century castle set in an estate of more than 300 hectares of gardens and greenery which, after being renovated, houses a luxurious 43-room boutique hotel decorated in a subtle and elegant contemporary style.
