Entregamos Hotel Portella

Since last February, the first guests are already enjoying the new luxury boutique hotel Portella, located in the heart of the old town of Palma de Mallorca, this newly built hotel has been our latest construction work for the luxury hotel industry on the island.

The construction, which has taken place over the last two years, has involved the complete refurbishment of a former 17th century residence into a new build luxury boutique hotel. The design was led by the prestigious Parisian interior design studio Festen in conjunction with the architectural firm Gras Reynés Arquitectos.

The meticulous renovation of the Hotel Portella has respected the original 19th century architecture, preserving elements such as the stone façade and wooden beams. Every detail has been carefully restored to preserve the essence of the building, creating a cozy atmosphere full of character.

The result of our work is a newly built hotel with 14 rooms, up to 80 m², equipped with kitchens, bathrooms and personalized furniture following the highest quality standards. From one of these suites you can catch a glimpse of the famous Arab Baths, which inspired part of the design of the new hotel. An example of the latter are the floors made of local terracotta.

Portella takes its name from one of the gateways to the medieval walled city of Palma and is the little brother of Barcelona’s beloved “hotel-home” Casa Bonay. The prestigious Forbes magazine has echoed the news, announcing the opening of the new-build hotel as “A dream of understated luxury”.
